Russell Scrimshaw, Chairman

Russell brings a wealth of experience to the role. Previously deputy CEO of Fortescue Metals, and General Manager for Optus, Alcatel Australia, IBM, Telecom New Zealand, and Amdahl corporation.  Russell can draw upon extensive international achievements in Japan, Europe, and the USA. He was also Group Executive for Technology, Operations and Procurement at CBA.

Russell is an Associate CPA. His other leadership roles include:  Non-executive Board member of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research; Adjunct Professor of Mining Economics at China Central South University in Changsha, China; Chairman of the Scrimshaw Foundation; Executive Chairman of Torrus Capital; Non-Executive Chairman of Sirius Minerals; and Chairman of Scrimshaw Nominees.

Rob Gundelach, Director

Rob brings investment banking experience with Ironside Capital, and considerable experience in both private and public capital markets. He has lived and worked in four Australian capital cities and also has broad international experience including London and New York. He was a private client advisor with Macquarie Bank and corporate financier with Merchant Corporate Finance.

Rob’s Previous directorships include Market Eye, an investor relations advisory firm, and Regent Road, a media production company. Rob holds a BBus, a BEcon and a Masters in Applied Finance from the University of Queensland.

Simon Shackleton, Director

Simon brings 15 years of success in an ever shifting IT market, and expertise as an active investor and adviser in early stage technology.

His other leadership roles include:  Non-Executive Director of Revise Online (Ed Tech); Executive Director of The Strategy Agency (Search Marketing); and  Managing Director of Doghouse, a Digital Experience Agency with offices in Melbourne, Perth, Canberra and Europe. Since founding Doghouse in 2006, Simon has grown it to be one of the largest independent digital agencies in Australia. Through Doghouse, Simon has provided strategic advisory services to brands such as Flight Centre, Virgin Australia, Boral, MMSG and numerous State and Federal Agencies.

Executive and Management Team

Martin Paech, CEO

Martin brings extensive leadership experience in the Telecoms and Technology sectors, and a track record in designing, developing and operating high impact, technology-enabled businesses.

Career highlights include: COO, Europe at American Communications Network, where Martin led European direct sales in telecoms, energy, security and FMCG, achieving year-on-year growth in PBT over a 4 year term; building “dingo blue” (an award winning ISP/Telco) from a green field site to $55m per annum in only two years; leading the profitable integration of Optus’ consumer operation ($1.5Bn per annum revenue) with Optus Vision; and executive level experience at Cable and Wireless.

Martin has experience in competitive strategy development, execution, fiscal control, corporate governance and risk management. He also boasts hard-won knowledge in strategic planning, digital transformation, sales and marketing, customer engagement, people, culture and motivation, media relations, retail distribution, supply chain management, and finance.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Economics and Commerce from the University of Adelaide. His previous roles include: Non-executive director, Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS); Chairman, E-magine International (CRM);  Chairman, Da Vinci Marketing.  Martin and has presented at INSEAD executive development courses.

Steve Hogben, CTO

Steve brings executive-level experience in Telecoms, Media and Technology. Previous roles  include Macquarie Technology Fund, Optus, and Lightbox (Spark Ventures New Zealand). Steve also has operational management experience in OTT products at Quickflix, Video Ezy and Blockbuster, and as  aconsultant to executive teams at Telstra, Optus, Roadshow, Gartner, Nine Network, and SkyNZ.

Steve defines Group technology strategy and manages the design and deployment of the group’s full suite of cloud and IP applications, including the core network architecture of the cloud telephony business. He ensures the group’s unique technology platform creates the seamless connections between all applications that give customers unmatched flexibility.

Fon Hah, CFO

Fon brings over 20 years of experience in strategic, financial and operational leadership in the Technology, Media, Insurance, and Industrial sectors. As Chief Financial Officer he oversees all finance, accounting and commercial functions.

Previous roles include: Head of Strategy at NineMSN; Head of M&A at Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety; a senior management role in Corporate Strategy at Suncorp.

Fon trained in Mergers & Acquisitions and Leveraged Buy-Outs with PWC and KPMG, and has managed capital transactions in Europe, UK, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He is a Director at The Brain Foundation, and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He holds a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University. Fon also holds Australian military security clearance, having served the Department of Defence as a special consultant to CASG’s Aerospace and Maritime Systems Divisions. His public speaking engagements include Advancing Composites Innovation Australia.

Anthony Goodman, COO

Anthony brings more than 20 years’ experience in the Information Technology and Telecommunications sectors. His broad experience at Telstra, Verizon, Compaq, NorTel and Link Telecommunications includes senior executive roles in customer service, business development, and commercial, operational, and strategic management.

Amanda Eales, Sales & Distribution Director

Amanda brings wide-ranging senior sales experience. Her previous roles include BDM, Account Executive, and Channel Manager at Telstra. In these roles she represented companies selling into Enterprise, Government, and Small to Medium Enterprise. This required good understanding of industry verticals including Retail, Financial Services, Travel and Tourism, Mining and Manufacturing, Government, and Transport Logistics.

Amanda works as a trusted adviser, building mutually beneficial relationships and sustaining high customer satisfaction within a progressive, professional corporate organisation.

Amanda’s consultative selling approach requires a deep understanding of a range of services and products in order to offer end-to-end solutions including recruiting professional services resources in various industry segments to identify CMS and ERP software opportunities. She prides herself on customer service and has a proven sales track record, experienced in multi-level positioning and negotiating contracts with different key stakeholders. Her areas of specialist knowledge include: Professional Services and Business Consulting; Software Solution Sales; Managed Services; Workforce Management and ERP systems; Telco Data; Mobility and Voice products.
