‘The situation’ and ‘Working from home’
It is, of course difficult to think of anything other than the COVID-19 situation at the moment and how this has impacted everybody worldwide. Whether the impact be to health or livelihood it has touched us all, or somebody we know in some way. The most important thing at the moment is to keep safe and try to keep positive.
Here at Tech Project we were fortunate enough to be mobilised instantly via our Banksia product and Rainbow product. As businesses, education providers and many other industries have enabled their teams to work from home and stay safe we have observed that the shift has worked better for some than others. It’s been an immense human effort.
Over the past weeks our operations and engineering teams have been working tirelessly around the clock to deliver Rainbow Enterprise independently and along with Banksia Services. We have also been supporting our existing partners in delivering ad-hoc changes to meet their customers Work from Home needs.
One positive to arise has been how communications providers, including ourselves and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise have made Work from Home Solutions readily available to help businesses and users. I’m proud of our contribution in offering the Rainbow Enterprise system to customers new and existing at no cost for 6 Months. Declared as the Gartner Niche Unified Communications Client in 2019, it’s been exciting to see how our partners, Alcatel-Lucent have continued to roll-out new features into the client.
